Blue Ridge Gathering is an informal meeting of western Virginia Quakers.2010 BLUE RIDGE GATHERING IN BLACKSBURG
Blue Ridge Gathering, the
area get-together for southwestern Virginia Meetings, will meet again
at the Blacksburg Meetinghouse on Sunday, May 23, beginning at 10 a.m.
The Blacksburg Meetinghouse is at 404 Mt. Tabor Rd. Participating
Meetings will be Abingdon, Blacksburg, Floyd, Maury River and Roanoke,
but all Friends are invited, of course. Short presentations on the
Christian Peacemaker Teams and the new Blacksburg Meetinghouse will
occur as well as a talk on Friends and the environment by Robert
McGahey. First Day School and child care for young Friends will also
be available. Gary Sandman can take three people in his car; he will
